My Soul Will Never Be Defeated
The cartoon was drawn in defiance of the alarming increase in sexual assaults against women protesters in 2013. It was particularly inspired by the testimony of Yasmin El-Baramawy, who was gang raped near Tahrir Square during protests in November 2012. She was one of the first women to speak out publicly about her ordeal.
