Graffiti in Berlin by Egyptian street artist El Teneen commemorating Giulio Regeni. Regeni, an Italian student pursuing a PhD at the University of Cambridge, was abducted and killed by Egyptian police while conducting fieldwork in Cairo. His murder caused an international scandal and highlighted the large number of forced disappearances in Egypt under the Sisi regime. Regeni's portrait is accompanied by the words, 'They killed him like an Egyptian'.
