This song, by belly dancer Sama El-Masry, released the month following the military coup against Mohamed Morsi, accuses US President Obama of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood because of the US administration's concern about the way in which Mohammed Morsi was removed from power. Many Egyptians were outraged that Western countries seemed to criticise the removal of Morsi, viewing this as Western governments siding with the Muslim Brotherhood.
The term 'your father, your mother' is an insult in Arabic. The song contains profanities and the representations of Obama deploy racialized insults.
El-Masry became popular amongst opponents of the Muslim Brotherhood when she released a song in November 2012 mocking the Islamist group.
